Alpha Domus is in the vicinity of a historic airfield, which has been important for training pilots throughout New Zealand’s aviation history.
The name Alpha Domus was inspired by the first initial of each of the first names from their father through to the youngest brother; Anthonius, Leonardo, Paulus, Henrikus and Anthonius (ALPHA); Domus is latin for house.

Alpha Domus – Viognier
A delicate and complex aroma of rose petal, lemon balm, peach and mineral notes. This is a well balanced wine with fresh acidity and a lingering sweet fruit finish. Great New Zealand summer drinking with seafood, white meats and spicy dishes.
Alpha Domus – The Navigator
A complex aroma of ripe berry fruits, plums, violet, liquorice and hints of leather. The ripe fruit, sweet oak and firm tannins create a robust complex wine with excellent length. Enjoy with red meats, pasta, strongly flavored dishes or cheese.
